Christmas tree toy made from a regular light bulb

Everyone loves New Year. Everyone tries to decorate their home with garlands, tinsel, and of course, toys. Our toys will be unique, as they are completely handmade.
To implement this idea we need: glass matting liquid GlassMat, light bulbs, gouache paints, threads. And a good mood!

Christmas tree toy made from a regular light bulb

We take the light bulbs, carefully remove the dust and treat them with any alcohol-containing solution (Mr. Muscle is ideal). Next we need to create a matte surface on the light bulb.
Pour GlassMat liquid into a plastic container and place the light bulbs there for 8-10 minutes.

After matting, the light bulbs must be washed with water and dried with a soft towel. Now we give free rein to our imagination and draw different characters and objects.

After the paint has dried, attach the thread and our Christmas tree toy is ready! In 20-30 minutes, without special knowledge or equipment, you received a ready-made and unusual souvenir!

Do you also want to make money on homemade products? Create unusual, avant-garde crafts made of glass and sell them in lots abroad. Several dozen craftsmen throughout the CIS have already proven in practice the viability of this idea.Having earned hundreds of dollars on portals such as ebay and etsy.

Gouache is still not suitable for such decoration. Try using acrylic, it adds gloss and looks more expensive.
