Baked mackerel

To prepare baked mackerel you will need:
1. To prepare this dish, I try to choose medium-sized fatty mackerel so that it can easily fit on a baking sheet. I defrost the fish, remove the insides, rinse thoroughly, and dab with a paper towel.
2. I cut the prepared mackerel on one side up to the ridge into portioned pieces, rub the outside and inside with salt, and sprinkle with fish seasoning. I leave the mackerel to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
3. While the fish is marinating, I take a medium-sized onion, peel it and cut it into thin half rings.
4. Wash the lemon thoroughly, cut off the ends, cut in half and cut into thin slices.
5.I carefully stuff a slice of lemon and onion into the cuts, and stuff the fish inside with onions and lemon. I try to put more onions, it gives juiciness to the fish and a pleasant aroma.
6. Place the prepared fish on a baking sheet, previously greased with a small amount of vegetable oil, sprinkle with lemon juice and place in the oven. I bake mackerel for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees. The readiness of the fish will be indicated by a golden brown crust. It is important not to overcook the mackerel in the oven, since burnt lemon and onion can only spoil the dish with their bitter aftertaste.
