How to make a rose from a viscose napkin

The material of the viscose napkin is in many ways reminiscent of felt. Therefore everything crafts, which are made from felt, can first be tried on a viscose napkin. An additional advantage of this material is its greater availability and low cost. Our master class offers a simple and quick way to make a rose.

To work, you will need a pink viscose napkin, a ruler, scissors and a glue gun.

The size of our napkin is 33x33 cm. Cut a strip 3.5 cm wide from one side.

We place the strip lengthwise and fold it slightly at one edge. After this, you need to make a slot (2 cm away from the edge) 1.5 cm deep (when unfolded there will be a hole 3 cm long).

Fold the strip further and make a second hole at a distance of 2 cm from the first.

Continue until the end of the strip. The result should be 6 holes of 3 cm each at a distance of approximately 2 cm from each other.

We place the strip horizontally and begin to form the blank for our rose. To do this, fold the right end of the strip lengthwise, thread it through the nearest hole and bring out the tip.

Then you need to thread the tip of our workpiece into the second hole of the strip and pull it out.

We continue like this until the end of the strip.

Now let's proceed directly to making the rose. To do this, take the right tip of our workpiece and twist it a little. At intermediate stages we fasten with hot glue.
