Cooking meat “French style” in the oven

New Year's holidays are always fun and delicious feast! And for housewives it also means hours spent at the stove. To reduce these hours and not be too painful, cook deliciously, but at the same time simply and quickly. Here is one very simple recipe for preparing delicious meat. Initially, the recipe contained more ingredients, but the simpler it was, the tastier it was.
We will need:
1. Pork (carb or neck) - 1 kg.
2. Cheese – 100g.
3. Onion – 1 onion.
4. Spices and salt.
5. Mayonnaise.
6. Bell pepper (frozen or fresh) – 1 pc.

To cook meat in the oven, cut the pork into even pieces about 1 cm thick. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the meat on it, laying it more tightly, since the meat will shrink slightly in size during cooking.

Rub each piece of meat with salt and sprinkle with your favorite spices.

Cut the onion into half rings and place one onion half ring on each piece, maybe two. This is also a matter of taste.Such pieces of onion can be easily discarded by those who do not eat cooked onions, at the same time they will impart their wonderful aroma to the meat. We also chop the pepper and place it on the meat. I use frozen green peppers, it takes no more than 1 piece.

Coat each piece of meat with mayonnaise and sprinkle everything with grated cheese on top.

Place in a preheated oven. We set the temperature to 220 degrees. My oven bakes from below and from above. I bake the meat on the bottom for 20-25 minutes, brown the top for no more than 10 minutes. Do not rush to take out the finished meat and immediately transfer it, otherwise the “coat” may be damaged. Let the meat cool slightly, then it will be convenient to transfer it to a plate and serve.

I often come across recipes with potatoes or tomatoes, but this is the first time with peppers. I really love peppers, I’ll definitely have to try them.

God! What a nightmare! How can you mock meat like that? What happens to cheese in 25 minutes at 220 degrees! Well, there is fried mayonnaise.

You need to sprinkle the cheese closer to the end of cooking, otherwise it will burn. You need 5 minutes before the end.

Excellent recipe, thank you. I have a question: why don’t you write your spices with which you cooked? Write your spices, and next to them, spices to taste.
