3 ways to remove a sticker from any item or dishware

You can often find price tags and barcodes stuck on purchased items. In most cases, it is not possible to rip them off. They begin to tear and also leave traces of glue. Let's look at 3 ways to remove stickers without unnecessary hassles.

1. Rubbing alcohol

Soak a cotton swab in alcohol and place it on the sticker for 10-15 minutes.

When it is soaked, it can be removed with a spatula or plastic card. If in the end a few traces of glue remain, they will be erased with the same soaked cotton wool.

2. Use WD-40 to remove the sticker

You can remove the sticker by spraying it with WD-40 penetrating lubricant.

The wet barcode is left for 15 minutes, after which it can be easily removed with a plastic card. This method is even better than alcohol, since most likely there will be no traces of glue left at all.

3. Vegetable oil

Vegetable oil also softens stickers quite well.

It must be applied on top and rubbed into the surface. Also, after 15 minutes, the sticker should come off easily if you pick it up with a card. If there is any glue left, a cotton swab or sponge in oil will wipe it off.Considering that oil, unlike alcohol and WD-40, is found in every home, this method is even more practical than the others. True, after it the surface will have to be washed with dishwashing detergent to remove grease.
