How to escape from the scorching sun and heat on the sunny side of the apartment
Even if you have at least one window on the sunny side of your house or apartment, it becomes simply impossible to be in such a room on a hot day. The temperature in the room rises quickly and there is no need to talk about any comfortable stay. To protect yourself from the sun's rays, you can use a cheap material sold in every hardware store - foil polyethylene foam. This material is not only an excellent heat insulator, but also a light reflector, since one side of it is covered with reflective foil.
To protect yourself from the sun, you need to make a mobile screen for the entire window, which can always be rolled up and put away.
Will need
- Wooden yard.
- Aluminum cans.
- Foil polyethylene foam (in any hardware store).
Making a light-heat-protective screen for a window with your own hands
And so, we take polyethylene foam and cut a piece out of it to cover the entire area of the window.If its length is not enough, then large pieces can easily be glued together with ordinary tape.
The rectangle is attached to the slats, which are located at the top and bottom. We fasten the polyethylene foam with a furniture stapler.
To hang such a screen, you need to screw in the hooks of the fastenings at the top of the window. And then hang the screen on them with loops made from aluminum can openers.
This screen can be quickly rolled up and removed if necessary.
It perfectly insulates both light and heat from the sun.
And the temperature in your room will be much lower than it was before. At least, being in it will now be quite possible.
