How to quickly stretch a wire through a 25 meter pipe
For reliable protection, the cable is often pulled not in a thin corrugated pipe, but in HDPE. This allows you to protect it from almost any negative impact. The only problem is that in HDPE pipes there is no wire for pulling, like in corrugated pipes, so the wire does not want to pass through, and the pipe is 25 meters long. This method will allow you to pull it through, even if the pipe is longer.
What you will need:
- HDPE pipe;
- vacuum cleaner;
- light cord;
- wine cork;
- rags.
The process of pulling a cable through a HDPE pipe
One end of the pipe must be connected to the vacuum cleaner tube. The difference in diameter can be compensated by wrapping a rag.
A light cord inserted into a drilled wine stopper needs to be inserted into the second edge of the pipe. To make it fit, it needs to be cut around the edges. Now, when you turn on the vacuum cleaner, it will tighten the plug along with the cord.
When the plug with the cord passes through the entire pipe, the vacuum cleaner turns off. Instead of a plug, a cable is tied to the emerging edge.
To stretch it, you need to pull the cord back. It will take 5 minutes to do everything.
