How to make a voltmeter without power
This voltmeter is capable of measuring DC voltage from 0 to 30 V. Its peculiarity is that it does not require additional power and operates directly from the measured voltage. Always ready to work, has minimal size and weight. Motorists should definitely like this homemade product.
Will need
- DC voltmeter 0-30 V -
- Two caps from PET bottles.
- Multi-core wires.
- Single core wire.
- Heat-shrink tubing.
- Hot glue gun.
Making a voltmeter
Take one lid and cut off the inner rim with a sharp knife.
Next, cut out a window for the voltmeter.
We cut off the ears of the board using metal scissors.
Place the board in the lid and fill it with hot glue.
Solder thicker wires or leave these ones. We make cuts on the sides with a knife for output.
Glue the lids together.
To make convenient probes, take a thick wire and sharpen 2 pieces on both sides.
Solder to the wires.
We put on the heat shrink and shrink it with a lighter.
The voltmeter is ready for use.
