The most tender meat that you can eat even with your lips
Beef is a fairly specific meat in cooking, so without proper culinary skills, dishes made from it turn out less appetizing than from simpler chicken or pork. If you have had a bad experience with beef and are biased towards it, then try this recipe. Meat prepared this way is guaranteed to be perfect. You can literally eat it with your lips.
Ingredients:
- beef – 1 kg;
- onion – 400 gr.;
- butter – 100-150 gr.;
- water – 50 ml;
- garlic – 3 cloves;
- salt – 0.5 tsp;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- vinegar 9% – 1 tsp;
- black pepper – 7 peas;
- allspice – 2 peas.
Cooking process
The meat is thoroughly washed so that there is no foam during cooking, and cut into large pieces, preferably across the grain, so it will be softer when cooked.
Then it is laid out in a pan in one layer and filled with water.
The onion is cut into small cubes and laid out on the meat.
Butter is placed on top.
The pan is covered and put on the stove for 1 hour. The heat is adjusted so that the meat simmers slightly.
After 1 hour, add grated garlic, vinegar, salt, sugar and spices according to the recipe.
The dish is mixed and simmered for another 60-90 minutes, depending on the hardness of the meat. It needs to start falling apart into fibers. At the end of cooking, if the dish turns out to be too liquid, you need to remove the lid and evaporate the excess water.
Meat prepared in this way can be served on a plate lined with pita bread. It also goes well with boiled potatoes, pasta, and buckwheat.
