How to organize the storage of garden tools so that it is pleasant to look at
For organized storage of garden tools, you can make a rack from the remaining scraps of sewer pipe and boards. With it, each tool will be in its place, and you won’t have to look for it for a long time.
Materials:
- sewer pipe 50 mm;
- self-tapping screws;
- bars or boards.
Rack manufacturing process
Clamps for fastening garden tools are made from sewer pipes.
To do this, it is cut into pieces 15-20 cm long. On one side the tubes end at 45 degrees.
Next, a strip 35 mm wide is cut lengthwise from the blanks. It should grip the sharp top of the pipe.
Also, linings are cut from the pipe for reliability. Holes are drilled in them.
Then a board or block is prepared to place the fasteners.
The length of the workpiece is selected in such a way as to be able to subsequently screw it to a free wall. It is laid on the floor and the existing equipment is tried on so that it does not interfere with each other.At the intersection of the tool handles with the block, clamps are screwed. For greater rigidity, this should be done through a previously cut strip.
The beam with clamps is screwed onto the wall and the tool is hung on it.
To use the usable space more efficiently, it is better to make 2 racks and place one on top and the other on the bottom.
