Dried bananas are a healthy treat
In the fitness nutrition system, sweets are treated very selectively, refusing all artificial ingredients. But after intense strength training, a small portion of sweets is needed to restore strength. A bag of dried banana rings will help out in this situation. After passing through an electric dryer, bananas acquire a special tropical-sweet taste. If you have sleepless nights ahead of exams or other mental stress, you can mix roasted almonds and dried bananas, the effect will be the same as after eating an energy bar.
1. Dry sweet, ripe bananas with uniform-colored pulp. In overripe fruits, the peel becomes covered with brown spots, and the flesh becomes slightly moist. These bananas are very tasty when raw, but when dried, the slices will soften and stick to the surface of the trays.
2. Rinse the selected bunch of bananas with cool water so that possible contaminants do not transfer from the peel to the pulp.
3. Peeled bananas are cut into circles, thickness 3-5 millimeters.
4. The lattice trays are removed from the electric dryer and lubricated with any refined vegetable oil.The oil is applied carefully so that it remains only on the top of the plastic ribs and does not flow down.
5. Lay out banana rings in rows.
6. Trays of bananas are placed in tiers and placed in an electric dryer. During drying, the banana slices do not need to be turned over; the rings are dried evenly on both sides.
7. Bananas are dried within 24 hours. If you take bananas out of the dryer ahead of time, they will not be stored for long and will stick to each other as soon as they get into the jar.
8. Well-dried bananas can be stored for more than a month. The circles do not dry out to a crisp, they become thinner, become elastic and bendable.
9. Dried bananas are stored in a dry place, placed in sealable glass jars.
10. Banana slices are eaten instead of candy when the body asks for something sweet. Dried bananas are thrown into the already prepared milk oatmeal. In this case, you don’t have to use sugar; the oatmeal will get its share of banana sweetness.
11. Dried bananas are often placed in butter dough, after being cut into small pieces. Baked goods get concentrated banana flavor. Very often, dried bananas are added to granola, but this is done after the oatmeal has been toasted in the oven.
12. Fresh bananas don't taste as sweet as dried ones. By losing moisture, fruits show off their natural sweet taste more clearly. Therefore, you can play on the taste contrast by adding dried slices to yogurt or yogurt.
