Endless card “Teacher's Day”

Every teacher invests in his students not only knowledge, but also teaches respect, gratitude and many other useful qualities. It follows from this that on his professional holiday the teacher deserves a greeting card from you with words of gratitude. A small trifle, a couple of pleasant words with congratulations and you will give the teacher a lot of positive emotions. To make this card interesting, you can make and decorate it yourself. This master class will allow you to master making an “endless” postcard for Teacher’s Day. Why is it called infinite? Because in it there will be four different spreads in total, which unfold one after another, and in the end, after the fourth spread, you return to the first.

Let's get started. We will need:
• Light brown and brown pastel paper on a landscape sheet;
• Two sheets of any cardboard for the postcard design;
• Scrappaper specifically for a school theme, only four sheets 15x15 cm;
• Color pictures about school and the inscription “Happy Teacher's Day”;
• Beige openwork lace;
• Dark brown polka dot grosgrain ribbon;
• Border hole puncher “Lace”;
• Black ink and acrylic stamp “Handmade”;
• PVA glue, pencil, double-sided tape, ruler, hot glue gun, scissors;
• For decoration, we take green leaves, brown, turquoise and peach flowers, a cut-out frame made of brown cardboard, various half-beads, a metal key, and a small piece of paper for congratulations.

To make candles we take

First, take cardboard and draw the size of the postcard diagram. The template shows that in total we need to cut out four 7*14 cm rectangles for the base of the postcard.

First we take cardboard

Cut out two rectangles

Cut out two 7*14 cm rectangles from pastel paper. Now, according to the diagrams, we need to make bending lines, the so-called scoring. To do this, we place a book or board under the paper and use scissors under a ruler to make a crease.

The corners that are sketched in the diagram are the places where we will spread PVA glue and glue the rectangles together. We place rectangles No. 1 and No. 2 tightly vertical to each other on the book. Apply PVA glue to the outermost upper and lower corners of the squares.

We take square No. 3, turn it over horizontally and smear the upper corner squares with glue and lay it horizontally on blanks No. 1 and 2. Press and smooth.

We also glue rectangle No. 4, only now we apply the lower corner squares.

Leave the glued corners to dry for about 15-20 minutes. Now let's spin the postcard. She's like a transformer, spread after spread. There will be four of them in total.

Now for each spread we will make our own decor. Each spread has its own sheet of scrap paper. From the remaining pieces we make paper lace with a hole punch.

We sew each one on a machine.

We glue two pictures onto each spread onto 7.5*7.5 cm squares. We sew each one on a machine.Then we add a ribbon to the front picture and make a frill of lace, and also sew it on. We tint the cut out inscription along the edge. We glue all cardboard parts only with double-sided tape.

We glue the rest of the decor at our discretion. We make an openwork note for congratulations from watercolor paper, stamp the inscription “Handmade” and apply glue to one corner, insert it into the second spread. This is a place for congratulations. Ready. We expand, as they say, to infinity.
