How to cook delicious hake
In order for the dish to turn out tasty, you need to choose the right fish. It must be fresh, without several frosts. I always look at the cut; it shows how long the fish has been lying on the counter. It should be light, clean and without weathering.
It takes very little time to prepare and you are guaranteed a delicious dinner or lunch.
List of ingredients
- Hake fish – 3 pcs.
- Carrots – 1 pc.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Tomato paste – 1 tbsp. l.
- Salt – a pinch.
- Vegetable oil - for frying fish.
- Flour – 3-4 tbsp. l.
How to deliciously fry hake
I chose 3 beautiful hake fish, which will be quite enough for dinner. I cleaned it of scales, cut off the fins, gutted the insides and washed the fish well. Then cut it into portions.
Now you need to prepare flour for breading separately. I pour flour into a plate, add salt to it and mix everything well.
Now each piece of fish needs to be rolled in flour and placed in a prepared frying pan with vegetable oil.
You need to fry until golden brown, it takes me about 5 minutes on each side, over medium heat. You can periodically turn the pieces of fish so that they are evenly fried on all sides.
Place the fish on a plate. And you can stew the vegetables. Chop the onion finely and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
First, fry the onion until golden brown, then add carrots and tomato paste to it and fry everything well. Salt to taste.
Place vegetables on top of the fish and serve. This fish goes well with mashed potatoes, but you can cook buckwheat or rice as a side dish.
