Amazing homemade chips without the hassle
Who doesn't love delicious, crispy potato chips? Why not make them at home yourself, from fresh and natural products, because they are really delicious! We offer an interesting recipe for making potato chips in the form of rolls, which will surprise all your family and delight them with an unusual taste.
The following ingredients will be required:
- potato;
- corn starch;
- vegetable oil;
- parsley.
- salt.
Making chips at home
Grate the potatoes or cut them by hand into thin slices. Using a knife or vegetable peeler. Thickness 1-2 mm. will be optimal - the round slices should literally be visible through.
Rinse in cold water to get rid of excess starch.
Place on cotton cloth or paper towels and blot with them. This is necessary in order to get rid of excess moisture. You can simply dry the slices for 30 minutes, without allowing them to darken.
Sprinkle potato slices with cornstarch powder and add another layer of slices. Sprinkle again. And wrap the double layers into rolls. We secure it with wooden toothpicks to hold it tightly.
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan, slow cooker or cauldron and deep-fry the rolls until golden brown.
Place in a bowl, cool, and remove toothpicks. Sprinkle with fresh or dried parsley or other herbs, salt, and serve with your favorite sauce. You can add garlic, dried seasonings or ground red/black pepper to taste.
