How to get rid of a hangover - advice from a narcologist
After a lot of fun and feasting, people often experience a hangover syndrome, which is accompanied by headaches, dizziness and nausea. The poison and breakdown products found in alcohol poison the body, organs and tissues.
How to get rid of such symptoms when you need to quickly get back on your feet? What can I do to alleviate the condition? Narcologist Vasily Shurov shares his secrets.
For recovery, the doctor advises:
1. Provide access to fresh air. Open the window wider or take the person outside.
2. Start stimulating biologically active points. It is acupressure that can quickly tone up. Massage your earlobes, pull them down, completely warm the auricle. Work the sublingual area well with your thumb. Use your fingertips to massage your temples, head and ensure blood flow.
In an advanced case, use your thumbs to press on the points on the back of the head located at the exit point of the pain nerve, and the person will come to his senses.
3. Coffee does not save you, on the contrary, it stimulates the nervous system and excites you.A good option is to drink lemon tea, which contains ascorbic acid.
4. One of the symptoms of withdrawal syndrome is an electrolyte imbalance, in which magnesium and potassium in the body decrease. Therefore, when you are hungover, you often crave salty and sour foods and drinks, such as brine. It is better to drink not cucumber, but cabbage, which is healthier in many respects and contains a large amount of vitamins.
