How to assemble a simple extension cord with a soft start for a power tool

The process of manufacturing an extension cord with soft start

To make an extension cord, it is necessary to disassemble the casing of the cable socket. A power cord with a plug is passed into it from the reverse side. One wire of the power cord is twisted with the soft start wire. Then the remaining core from the cable is connected to one contact of the socket, and to the second from the soft start unit. Connections are isolated. For reliability, it is better to solder the twist before doing this.

The socket body is assembled.

After this, the extension cord is ready for use.
