How to easily untie a tight knot on a lace or rope
If you have such an unfortunate misfortune, and the lace on one of your sneakers is tied tightly in a knot, then there is nothing annoying. Even the tightest knot in a rope can be easily untied with this simple method.
Will need
- Two pins.
That's all.
Untie a tight knot on a lace or rope
We pierce one overlap of the knot with a pin (or pry it from above).
We snap the pin into the lock. We take another one and pierce it through the other overlap of the knot. We close the pin into the lock.
As a result, this is what you should get.
Next, we carefully “tug” the knot to the sides by the pins.
Eventually it will weaken.
After this, you can pull out the pins and untie the knot with your own hands.
Advice: if the lace is synthetic, then before untying it you can spray it with liquid soap or soapy water to make things go even faster. It is better not to do this with cotton lace, as it will swell.
