An ancient way to remove any stains from white linen
Yellowed and stained white linen can be restored by soaking it in laundry soap and potassium permanganate. This is a hypoallergenic method that works 100%.
What you will need:
- water – 10 l;
- laundry soap – 1/4 bar;
- potassium permanganate – 3-5 crystals.
Whitening process
You need to boil 4-5 liters of water in 2 containers.
After boiling, grated laundry soap is poured into one of them.
Several crystals of potassium permanganate are added to the second container. You need to get a red solution.
As soon as the soap dissolves, you need to pour both solutions into one large container and immerse white things in it.
If this type of fabric cannot be washed in hot water, you should wait until it cools down. After 6-8 hours, the laundry is removed and put into a washing machine for rinsing to wash off stains and yellowness corroded by the solution. After this, things will become noticeably lighter. This solution perfectly removes stains from grass, rust, and ink.
