Delighting the family - baking Leopard bread
Soft and airy, and even with leopard spots and an appetizing crust - this leopard bread is perfect for a tea party with aromatic pastries, on whose leopard paw you just want to put a layer of butter or berry jam.
1. Because Yeast is fast-acting, it can be immediately added to the general batch without waiting for the fermentation reaction. Therefore, stir them with a whisk in sweetened milk, add eggs and shake.
2. Pour in oil.
3. Sift the flour in small parts.
4. The dough will be very sticky and watery, so you can stir it with a whisk.
5. Divide the batch in half and set aside 1 part, adding 2 tablespoons of flour to it. Divide the remainder again, putting 2/3 of the specified amount of cocoa in one bowl, and the remaining smaller share in another bowl.
6. Knead the white dough by hand - it has now become elastic and non-sticky.Do the same with dark blanks.
7. Place the rounded mixtures in clean, oiled bowls, covering with film. The dough should proof for an hour.
8. Next, divide all 3 colored balls into 5 parts.
9. Roll long sausages from brown dough of a lighter shade, orienting their length to the size of your baking dish.
10. Roll out the darkest balls into elongated layers, into which you will need to wrap the lighter sausages.
11. Similarly, roll out the largest, white flatbreads and pack the already prepared dark sausages into them.
12. So, we got 5 white pieces, the inside of which consists of dark brown and light brown dough.
13. Oil the mold. Place 3 pieces on the bottom and 2 on top.
14. Cover them with film and leave for half an hour to proof. Then the top can be greased with yolk. At 180 degrees with the upper and lower heat of the oven turned on, bake leopard print bread for 40 minutes.
When the bread has cooled, remove it from the pan and slice it. In the cross-section, light brown circles framed by darker contours are clearly visible, and the baked structure is replete with small air bubbles, which indicates a good quality of the batch.
