Cutting a plate of tomatoes in one motion
First of all, wash the tomatoes as usual.
Then place them on a shallow rimmed plate.
Cover with a second similar plate on top.
Now press the plates with your hand and use a sharp kitchen knife to cut all the tomatoes at once in one pass.
