Frozen mackerel snack in 5 minutes
Tender, slightly fatty fish is saturated with a subtle aroma of spices and mixed with crispy pickled onion rings. This appetizer can be prepared from frozen mackerel in just 5 minutes.
It takes 5 minutes to cook, + it will take some time for the snack to cool.
1. Frozen mackerel is perfectly cut into even pieces and is easily removed from the entrails. Remove the head and tail, cut into 1.5 cm pieces, remove the intestines.
2. Cut the onion into rings.
3. Place the 1st layer of onion on the bottom of a small saucepan.
4. On top - a few fish pieces.
5. Cover them with onions. Repeat layers if necessary.
6. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
7. Whisk everything together.
8. Pour marinade over mackerel.
9.Place the saucepan on the stove and simmer the appetizer under the lid on the lowest heat for exactly 5 minutes after boiling.
10. Remove the lid and leave the fish to cool.
