How to weave an “X” bracelet from cords
The weave of this bracelet resembles the Latin letter “X”. It is best to create such a decoration using contrasting colors of the cord that will highlight the design. Step-by-step weaving of this bracelet is presented in our master class.
To create the decoration, take:
First, cut about 40 cm from the black cord. Secure the cord to one half of the fastener as follows.
At this stage, you need to decide on the length of the bracelet and adjust the cord, securing it to the second half of the clasp.
We cut the free ends of the cord to the required length, melt them and connect them.
Now you can proceed directly to weaving. To do this, take a black cord and run it under the central base of the future bracelet.
Let's complete the first node. To do this, we throw the right end of the cord to the left.
The left end must be passed under the central base and brought out through the right loop.
Tighten the cord.
We begin to perform the second node. It needs to start from the other end of the cord. If before we started from the right, now we first throw the left end over.
We put the yellow cord into operation. It must be folded in half, and then pass the ends through a loose black knot.
We tighten it.
We cross the drawn ends of the yellow cord.
After this we execute the node.
We tighten it.
For subsequent weaving, the yellow cord must be brought out. After this we make a knot from the black cord.
We tighten it.
Now we will repeat the previous weaving steps. First we fold the black cord for the knot.
Then we introduce the crossed yellow cord.
Tighten the knot.
The front side should look like this.
On the reverse side, our bracelet will look like this.
We complete the weaving by completely forming a cross.
We cut off the excess ends, and then carefully melt them with a lighter.
