Soap making using the Snowflake mold

On the eve of the New Year, I want to surprise my loved ones with gifts made from the heart and with my own hands. Homemade soap is one such gift. But what if you have never done this and have no idea where to start? In this case, you need to start with the simplest, with simple forms and simple recipes.

To make three different types of Snowflake soap we will need:
• White soap base.
• Transparent soap base.
• Cosmetic dye “Aquamarine” (blue or dark blue).
• Base oils (peach, grape seed, almond, etc.).
• Essential oils of orange and rosemary (any others).
• Knife.
• Soap mold “Snowflake”.
• Dishes for warming soap.
• Wooden skewer.
• Syringe.
• Alcohol.

I offer several options for soap using this form. The first option is the simplest. In a special bowl, heat the required amount of white or transparent base; it is most convenient to do this in a microwave oven for about 20 seconds (Do not bring to a boil!).Add a few drops of essential oils, a little base oil, 10-15 drops of Aquamarine dye, mix everything thoroughly with a wooden skewer and pour it into the Snowflake soap mold, which has previously been sprayed with alcohol from a spray bottle. Sprinkle alcohol on top too and leave until completely dry.
The second option is a little more complicated. To do this, we heat the white base separately and, in the same way as in the previous version, add a blue base. We enrich the bases with oils. First pour one of the prepared bases into a mold that has been sprinkled with alcohol. We wait until the first half has completely hardened and add the second half on top, don’t forget about alcohol, it helps remove bubbles from the surface of the soap.
The third option is the most difficult. There is also a combination of two colors, white and blue. We take one of the bases, heat it and put it into a syringe. Very carefully, but quickly, otherwise the soap will harden in the syringe, pour the base into the recesses of the Snowflake.

We wait until it hardens completely and sprinkle with alcohol. Pour the base of the second color on top completely. When the soap hardens, remove it from the mold.
Thus, we got three options for a simple, but at the same time festive soap “Snowflake”, smelling of orange and rosemary. It is recommended to wrap the soap in cling film so that it does not lose its gloss. And then package it and give it to your friends and family!

What a beauty! And how carefully they managed to pour a snowflake onto the mold! It turned out very festive! The unique aroma of soap is provided by a variety of essential oils; I think on the eve of the New Year, the smell of orange and chocolate will be especially appropriate!
