How to make a garden sprinkler from a PET bottle

Most gardeners know that if you water the beds directly from a hose, the stream of water washes away the soil, exposes the roots of the plants, and the resulting streams form depressions. All this negatively affects garden crops. To avoid this, use sprinklers or sprinklers. Of course, you can buy it, but if suddenly for a number of reasons it didn’t work out, then it doesn’t matter. You can easily make a sprayer yourself from a PET bottle.

Will need

• Plastic bottle 0.5-1 liter.
• A piece of hose 10-20 cm.
• Adapter for watering hose.

How to make a simple sprinkler from a PET bottle

Take the bottle and unscrew the cap. We insert a piece of hose into the neck. If the connection is not tight, wrap it with electrical tape. To prevent the bottle from falling off during use, we hammer a nail into the neck.

Next we put on the adapter.

We make numerous holes at the base of the bottle using a nail or an awl.

Our sprinkler is ready for use. When necessary, we put it on the watering hose and use it.
