How to convert a fluorescent lamp to LED
If the fluorescent lamp in the lamp fails, an LED strip can be installed in its body. Externally, such a modification will not be noticeable, but the modified device will become more economical and reliable. The service life of LED strips is almost 5 times longer than that of fluorescent lamps, so it will not be necessary to repair the lamp again soon.

The process of converting a fluorescent lamp into an LED lamp
It is necessary to remove the lamp diffuser and remove the fluorescent lamp.
After this, a piece is cut from the LED strip that can be glued into it. Then you need to calculate the length or measure its power with a multimeter to select the driver.
The lamp body is disassembled. All electronic components must be removed from it, since they will not be required for the LED strip.
2 wires are soldered to the input on the side of the case.
They need to be laid in the cavity of the housing and brought out to the reverse side. The inlet plug is then snapped into place.
If the lamp has a switch, then one of the wires must be routed through it.
On the back side of the lamp, the lead-out wires are soldered to the driver without a housing.
The driver is placed in the cavity of the lamp. Its wires need to be brought out by cutting the second plug for this. Then the tape is glued, and they are soldered to it, observing the polarity.
Thus, if you managed to select a compact driver that fits into the cavity of the lamp body, then after conversion it looks the same as before.
At the same time, such a light source will consume less without loss of brightness, provided that a powerful tape is used.
