Whatever the paradox, it is difficult to imagine a simpler amplifier that you can make with your own hands. Just one chip, without any filtering or correction circuits, can turn into an audio frequency power amplifier in a couple of minutes.

LA4440 - a two-channel amplifier is housed in a single chip package. And if you turn it on in a bridge circuit, then the need for all circuits of resistors and capacitors will practically disappear.

Will need

  • Microcircuit 2 pieces LA4440 -
  • Wires.

Making a simple amplifier on a chip

We fix the microcircuit for soldering. Using a piece of wire we connect pins 2,3,8 and 14. This will be the common wire, also negative.

That's all. The circuit is assembled and ready to connect external sources and loads. Solder the connector to the input: 1 and 14 pins. We will play sound on them.

Next, we solder a load in the form of a speaker to pins 10 and 12.

And finally, we connect a 12 V power supply to pins 14 and 11.

We feed the sound from the player to the input of the amplifier. And we check the work.

That's all for sure.Further, for improvement and at your discretion, according to the datasheet, you can add power supply filter capacitors and an input decoupling capacitor.

    Any micro-device can be connected like this, only the sound will be g.... And if you want normal sound, connect it correctly according to the appropriate diagram👍
