How to make a machine from rotors from electric motors for quickly stripping insulation from wires
Old dismantled copper wires can be very profitably handed over to a metal collection facility, but this requires stripping them of insulation. Doing this with a knife is long and difficult, and firing is accompanied by the release of acrid smoke. You can strip the wire very quickly and with minimal effort by passing it between the rollers of a special homemade machine.
You need to select any 2 small rotors from electric motors. Bearings are installed on their shafts on both sides. Then you need to assemble a U-shaped frame from the board. Holes are made in it for pressing bearings, as a result, the installed rotors should rotate freely. In this case, the distance between them is made the same as the cross-section of a copper core without insulation, which has to be stripped.
Jumpers made of metal strips are placed on the sides of the frame. They should be flush with the gap between the rollers.A hole is drilled in their center for the input and output of the core.
To use the machine, you need to clamp the shaft from one of the rotors into a drill or screwdriver. The wire is then passed through the hole in the jumper and inserted between the rollers. When starting the drill, they will roll it among themselves and lead it into the hole on the second jumper.
After rolling, the core insulation will be pressed through. All you have to do is just pull it together with your hands, which is very simple and quick.
What you will need:

- strip or sheet steel.
