A useful idea for using plastic and glass bottles in construction without melting

The issue of recycling plastic and cullet in Russia and neighboring countries is practically not developed. Therefore, if you are thinking about starting your own business, or just want to save on materials for your own construction, you can try to set up the production of concrete bricks from plastic and glass waste.

Materials:

plastic waste;
glass waste;
cement;
sand;
water.

Concrete brick making process

To produce bricks, you need to grind plastic and glass waste separately. The plastic raw materials used are bags, PET bottles, disposable food containers, plates, spoons, etc. Glass is also suitable for everything from bottles and windows.

In a concrete mixer, mix 1 bucket of regular sand, cement, glass and plastic chips. Water is added to a minimum, since plastic and glass do not absorb it.

The concrete is pressed into bricks, which, after drying, can be used for construction.

Due to the glass present, they have a beautiful shine; in addition, they will be too tough for rodents. And most importantly, thanks to this production, there will be less non-degradable waste in landfills.
