Connections of three profile pipes without welding at 90 degrees in a corner

When assembling various frames from a profile pipe, it is most convenient to use a welding machine, but in its absence it is quite possible to make do with ordinary rivets. They will even help in the corners of the connection of three pipes, the main thing is to do the correct trimming.

The process of connecting a corner from pipes without welding

The assembly of such a complex angle is carried out in 3 stages. On the first one you need to bend one pipe at 90°. To do this, a transverse line is drawn at the inflection point. Lines at 45° are marked in 2 directions from it. The result is a triangle.
On the opposite wall of the pipe, strictly opposite, an identical triangle is drawn.

Their tops are connected by transverse lines. As a result, there will be two of them on one wall, and one on the second. The pipe is cut along all lines except the side with one transverse line, and bent along it.


At the second stage, the next pipe is prepared. An indentation is made from its edge by the width of the profile and a transverse mark is placed.Then, before it, you need to make longitudinal cuts along three adjacent faces.

After this, two pipes cut from the sides are bent outward at a right angle.

At the final stage, the tube is applied to the previously formed corner and connected to it with rivets.



A total of 4 rivets are used. The result is a fairly strong connection with right angles.
