Spare blades for a hacksaw for metal can be attached to its frame with electrical tape, so that you don’t have to look for it later if necessary. They are very light, so this will not affect the ease of sawing. But at any time the desired canvas can be easily removed and installed.
When gluing a crack on wooden parts, you can use dental or regular nylon thread to evenly distribute the wood glue. The glue is poured through the spout on the jar, and rubbed into hard-to-reach places with thread.
After this, the part is compressed with a clamp, and the exposed glue can be sprinkled with sawdust and wiped off.
If necessary, use a socket wrench to tighten the bolt in a hard-to-reach place using a rubber band. It is tightened with a loop on the key and applied to its head. After this, the bolt head is inserted, which, thanks to the elastic band, is securely fixed. As a result, the bolt will not fall out until it can be tightened.
To prevent plastic safety glasses from getting scratched in a tool box, you can put a sock on them. It is desirable that it be warm, then its softness will additionally protect the glass from breaking during storage.
If necessary, you can use a chain to mark the circle. A pencil is inserted into its outermost link, and the chain itself is fixed in the center of the required circle. By moving it by a link or half a link, you can mark out even circles with a fixed pitch.
When cutting polystyrene foam with a jigsaw, it is better to use an old file. Using sandpaper, the teeth are ground down to a smooth edge.
The modified file cuts almost the same as with teeth, but without sawdust.
