    The stator winding fails extremely rarely; much more often there are problems in the armature. If you are so attached to your drill, throw in a ready-made electric motor from a 12V screwdriver or 220V from a blender, or 27V from aircraft units (MZK-3) there are plenty of them on the market and they will easily fit in the case.
