Champagne dressed up as a Christmas tree for the New Year's table

Don’t know how to make an original decoration for the New Year’s table with your own hands? Then this master class is for you!
There is a bottle of champagne on every table on New Year's Eve, isn't there? In order to present this seemingly familiar attribute of the holiday in an original way, I propose to make a New Year’s outfit for it.

Dressing up a bottle of champagne as a Christmas tree

I draw and cut out templates from paper. I glue the neck and base together (I used covers from a sketchbook).

I cover the neck with green tape.

Then I cut the tape into strips of about 10 cm.

I fold each one in half, coat it with glue and apply it to the base, forming the first row. You can secure the so-called needles with a rubber band for money.

For the crown, I cut out a strip of cardboard 2.5 cm high and a length equal to the circumference of the neck. I close it into a ring and glue it together.

I decorate it with golden ribbon. Now my Christmas tree is the queen of the New Year's table!

I sew a bow from a red ribbon, decorate it with a snowflake and glue it to the crown.

The forest beauty is ready! The advantage of this outfit is not only its originality, but also its practicality due to the fact that it is removable. It can be used for several years.
