High efficiency camping stove

High efficiency camping stove

Hi all! This is a camp stove for outdoor cooking. You can take it with you on a hike or to the country where there is no stationary stove. The stove is made of stainless steel, but to replicate this you can use regular steel.

Stove oven idea

This stove-stove is not a completely standard design: the idea is that the fire warms the air between the sides, which in turn raises the air. At the top, the heat from the fire and warm air mix.
Furnace design diagram

This furnace design increases the combustion rate of flue gases. The low pressure created by the passage of warm air draws more heat from the combustion chamber, more complete combustion of fuel occurs, without unnecessary emissions.
The entire stove resembles a carburetor from a car, where the optimal mixture is prepared, air and fuel are mixed.
This stove-stove is an experimental option that has proven itself well. True, the manufacture of such a double-walled structure cannot be called simple.
Otherwise, this is a stove with a rocket design that has already become a classic.

Making a furnace

This is what the bottom of the oven looks like:
Oblique legs made of bent sheet. There are holes on the sides for cold air intake.

The damper also acts as a regulator for the air supply to the combustion chamber. To ignite, it must be fully or partially opened. Well, when all the wood has flared up, the damper needs to be closed. It has optimal holes for the required amount of air supply. This ensures complete combustion of wood in the chamber. Thanks to all these conditions, this stove has a higher efficiency.

You can find out more complete and detailed information about the design of the furnace by watching the video. At the end you will see a camp stove tested in real conditions.

Is it okay that “rocket” stoves are already selling? And so, respect to the “inventor of the bicycle”))

I made the same camping stove from the remains of 2mm stainless steel. Conventional welding without argon. The stove circuit is working, long flames burn with virtually no smoke.
Here is my version of this stove:

Is it possible to order such a stove?
