Two pieces of a square with sides of 21 cm are cut out of large scraps of fabric, and a circle with a diameter of 12–13 cm is cut out of a red piece of dense material.
You will also need a cotton strip of material 7 cm wide and 144 cm long. The width of the selected fabric is divided in half, and a line is drawn along the entire workpiece. On this line, segments measuring 3.5 cm are marked and drawn perpendicular to the main line. On the other side of the strip, a size of 1.9 cm is retreated from the edge and a dot is placed. From the point, they also mark 3.5 cm segments along the line and draw them. Next, the workpiece is cut along short lines to the main line. The resulting squares are folded with a corner, secured with a needle and ironed with a hot iron. It turns out to be a braid from the corners.

For the second part of the tack, a square spacer is cut out of flannel with a side of 18 cm. The spacer is sewn onto the part from the inside out.
A strip of red fabric folded in a loop is placed on the corner of the first part of the product. Next, both parts are folded facing each other, stitched along the edge, leaving one of the sides of the workpiece unsewn.

This potholder is a very useful thing! And, as it turned out, it’s not difficult to do. It turns out beautiful and most importantly useful. Now no more careless hands!)))
