Stages of transforming an old vase:
1. Absolutely any vase (no matter old or new) is suitable for this master class, which must first be cleaned of old decor, washed well and dried with a towel. So, let's prepare all the necessary materials.

2. At the next stage, we will need paper tape, with which we need to paste our vase in a random order.

cover our vase

You can stick this tape around the vase, in length, or in the form of a spiral - in general, as you like. I glued paper tape in the form of rectangles with different lengths.
3. At this stage we will need aerosol paint in a can of any color you like. I chose metallic green color. It is better to paint outside, after placing a plastic bag (or something else unnecessary) under the vase so as not to stain anything. You need to paint in at least 2 layers. You should shake the can thoroughly, and then start spraying the paint at a distance of about 20-30 cm, carefully turning the vase. Do not bring the can too close to the vase, as smudges may form on it. Leave the vase for the paint to dry for 15 minutes. Then repeat everything again. If the color is not bright enough, you can cover the vase with 3 and 4 layers.

After painting, the vase should dry well (about 1 hour).
4. When the paint on the vase has dried, you must very slowly and carefully remove the paper tape.

If you hurry, you can remove the paint along with the tape!
5. After removing the paper tape, rectangles with uneven edges will appear on the vase. These edges need to be decorated. This can be done with any materials you have - ribbons, sequins, beads, rhinestones, etc. In this case, I used plastic rhinestone thread.

6. In order to carefully close the uneven edges of the rectangles, you need to cut off the required amount from the thread with rhinestones and use a heat gun to glue it to the vase.

Do this procedure with all the rectangles on the vase.

You need to use the heat gun carefully so that the glue does not get on the painted areas of the vase, as this can damage the paint.
7. Using gold-colored acrylic paint and a brush, apply swirly strokes to the vase in any form.

8. Also using acrylic paint, but only in a silver color, paint the inside of the rectangles.

starts living again

9.That's all, our old vase begins to live in a new way! This vase will become a decoration in any interior. You can put not only fresh flowers in it, but also artificial ones.
