Instructions for making a passport cover with the “Owl” applique

We sew a cover.
1. Take measurements from your passport. Make a pattern for the base of the cover. To do this, add 10 centimeters in width to the resulting dimensions. This is necessary in order to make folds (5 cm on each side). Add 0.5 centimeters at the top and bottom of the pattern. For example, a document has a size of 12x18 cm. We cut out the blank: width 5 cm + 18 cm + 5 cm + 28 cm, height 0.5 cm + 12 cm + 0.5 cm = 13 cm. So the main part of the cover should measure 28x13 centimeters . Fold the sides over and pin them.

2. Sew one side of the cover using a 2 needle forward seam (stitches). Insert your passport to double-check that the measurements and pattern are correct.
