Making delicious and thick yogurt is very easy. You only need three components and a few hours of time. The result will definitely please you, because the fermented milk product prepared according to this recipe can be served immediately. And if you put a couple of spoons of jam or marmalade in it, you will get a real fruit dessert.

Required:

  • 2 liters of milk;
  • 60 gr. corn starch;
  • 50 ml. natural yogurt.

How to make thick yogurt at home without a yogurt maker

Pour starch into a deep plate with milk and stir until completely dissolved.

Place the container on the stove and cook over low heat. Stir constantly to prevent the contents from burning. When the mixture boils, remove from the stove.

Cool to 45-50 degrees. Use a kitchen temperature probe to measure the temperature.

Add fermenting yoghurt and stir until completely dissolved.

Pour the prepared liquid drink into glass bowls with a volume of about 200 ml. Cover with napkins and place on a baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees for 10 minutes and turn off.Place the jars in the oven to ferment for 4 hours. After fermentation, put it in the refrigerator for several hours, 3-4 will be enough.

The prepared product can be used as an independent dish. Or you can add it to the dough and the baked goods will turn out much softer.
