Original photo frame
A beautiful frame of an unusual shape is an original interior decoration. It will look good on the mantelpiece in the living room or serve as a nice little souvenir for family and friends. The manufacturing process will not take much time; for this you will need beads and the following available materials:
A piece of aluminum wire (40 cm);
Multi-colored beads (100 g);
Fishing line or wire for beads (200 cm);
2 shampoo (gel, cream) caps;
Cardboard, blue yarn, “gypsy” needle;
Photo of your choice;
Blue gouache, varnish.
First you need to take an aluminum wire and bend it in half; The ends should be slightly spread apart, as if forming a triangle:
At one end of the wire, having previously retreated 4-5 cm, we fasten a thin fishing line or wire for beads (it is preferable to use wire, then the product holds its shape better). We begin to string beads onto it, parallel to it, tightly wrapping the thread around the aluminum wire, avoiding any gaps.
We continue to string the beads; after 4-5 cm remains to the end, fasten the thread.We take shampoo caps, fill them with alabaster mixture, and insert the product into them at the ends (about 4-5 cm). This must be done quickly, before the alabaster has hardened, positioning the frame as evenly as possible. After the product is completely dry, paint the lids and stands with gouache (you can cover them with glitter). We coat the entire frame with varnish and let it dry.
Cut out a circle (hollow inside) from cardboard and wrap it tightly with blue woolen thread.
Place your favorite photo inside the circle. Using a small piece of woolen thread, we secure the frame with the photo exactly in the middle of the dried structure. If desired, you can insert a beautiful picture inside the frame and decorate the frame with a small yarn tassel.
