How to bake crucian carp in foil with onions is very tasty

Crucian carp with onions baked in its own juice is a hearty, tasty and appetizing dish that will delight not only the whole family, but also guests with its exquisite taste. Preparing such a dish will not be difficult and will not take much time.

Required ingredients:

  • Crucian carp (fresh or frozen) – 1 large fish,
  • onion – 1-2 heads,
  • mayonnaise – 35 ml.,
  • lemon – 0.5 pcs.,
  • salt - to taste,
  • pepper - a pinch,
  • greens for serving - optional.

Step-by-step instructions with photos: how to bake crucian carp in foil

1. We clean the crucian carp from scales and remove the entrails. Remove the black film from the walls of the abdomen. Rinse the fish well with clean water.

2. Next, prepare the sauce. To do this, put mayonnaise, pepper, salt and a little lemon juice in a bowl.

3. Using a spoon, beat the mixture. Using a pastry brush, spread the crucian carp on all sides and inside the abdomen. Leave the carcass to soak in the sauce for 10 minutes.

4. During this time, peel the onions and chop them into large half rings.

5. Place the marinated fish on the matte side of the foil.

6. Spread onion half rings on top in a thick layer.

7.Wrap the crucian carp in foil and place it in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. To get an appetizing look: 5-7 minutes before the end of time, open the foil.

8. Place the finished fish along with the onions on a plate and serve, garnished with fresh herbs.
