Learning to make a beautiful end on a profile pipe

When welding gates, railings, balusters, beds and other structures with high demands on the decorative component from a profile pipe, you can try to design the open ends as follows.

Required tools:

• ruler;
  
• scriber;
  
• Bulgarian;
  
• welding machine;
  
• hammer.

The process of manufacturing a decorative end on a profile pipe

Using a scriber or marker, you need to make markings on the end of the pipe.

Marks are placed on it in the center of each side, and at the corners, indented from the edge by half the width of the pipe.

The marks on each side are connected into triangles. A cut is made along the drawn lines. Transverse lines are drawn at the base of the formed peaks.


Then a light notch is made on them with a grinder to weaken the metal.

The weakened peaks are carefully folded inside the pipe until they are gathered at the top of the pyramid.


After this, the seams between them are welded and sanded.
