Concrete gun
This gun can be used to feed concrete mixture into very narrow cracks, seams or crevices. The design is a screw pump, which is driven by a screwdriver or drill. Concreting narrow channels anywhere is no longer a problem.
Required Parts
To make such an auger gun you will need:
- A piece of metal pipe.
- Thick steel wire.
- Plastic bottle with a wide neck.
- A cap from a regular plastic bottle.
- The spout is from a tube of sealant or construction adhesive.
Making a gun for feeding concrete
We cut the steel wire approximately 0.5 m long.
Let's hold two steel wires parallel in a vice and wind one on top of the other. This will be the auger. The operation is very labor-intensive, since the thick wire is very difficult to bend.
Advice: In order for the wire to bend better, it must be annealed.
You will have to clamp the twist in a vice several times, winding up more and more turns of the coil.
It should look like a screw. The turns should not be close to each other.
We insert the auger into the pipe. We check how tightly one fits into the other. If it is free, you need to take a smaller pipe.
We clamp the auger parallel to the vise a couple of times - this action will make it straight.
We saw off the excess tail of the winding on one side and the other. Moreover, the central core on one side should protrude more, since it will be clamped into the chuck of a drill or screwdriver.

Use sandpaper to grind off all sharp corners.
Now we measure the pipe along the length of the auger.
We cut off the excess with a hacksaw.
Take a bottle with a wide neck. These sell milk or yoghurt. And we make a through hole in the pot along the diameter of the pipe.
We insert the pipe. The tighter the better.
We mark with a marker to make a semicircular hole in the pipe.
We cut out a semicircular hole with a hacksaw. We grind off all sharp edges of the pipe using sandpaper.
We insert the pipe into the bottle.
Cut off the bottom of the bottle with a utility knife.
We glue the junction of the pipe with the bottle with hot glue on both sides.
Now it's time to make the nose. But before that, you need to cut a thread on one end of the pipe. Clamp the pipe in a vice and cut the threads with a tap. We try to tighten the nut.
Now we take a cap from a plastic bottle and a spout from unnecessary construction adhesive or sealant. We drill a hole in the lid for this spout.
We insert it.
We cut the lid skirt so that it fits tightly into the union nut, which will be screwed onto the pipe.
We insert everything into the union nut.
Screw the spout onto the pipe.
We assemble a gun with a pump. To do this, clamp the coil into a drill and insert it into the pipe.
We put the liquid cement mortar into the bottle. And we test it.
Pistol tests
The drill turns the auger and the concrete is squeezed out well through a small hole in the spout.
You can use other mixtures and adhesives to seal cracks.
After use, the gun can be easily washed with water.
