Sweet basket

Today, delicious baskets are at the peak of popularity. They can be filled with fruits or vegetables, sausages or cheeses, candies and other sweets. Such present is selected taking into account the taste preferences of the recipient, but there are some regularities. For example, it would be logical for a man to present a bouquet of snacks to go with beer, for a child - gingerbread cookies and marmalade, and for girls - a set of sweets or fruits.
Today you will learn how to make a small basket filled with different sweets.

For work, prepare the following materials:

• wooden thin sticks;
  
• a square piece of foam plastic;
  
• wrapping paper;
  
• heat gun;
  
• scissors;
  
• gloves (rubber or polyethylene);
  
• packaging cellophane;
  
• red ribbon;
  
• all kinds of sweets (marmalade, halva, sesame candies, dates, milk toffee and caramel).

Making a sweet basket with your own hands

First, decide on the sweets that you will place in the future basket. You should not take products that are too soft, but very hard ones are also not suitable. Here you need to find a middle ground. Take tasty treats that can be pierced with a wooden stick without much physical effort, and they will still hold securely.
Here is a sample set: marmalade in the form of peach slices, halva, sesame caramel, milk toffee, dried dates.

Now put on plastic disposable gloves. Place each of the selected components on the sharp end of a wooden stick. Arrange the skewers with sweets on plates.

You need to create the basis for a delicious composition. To do this, take wrapping paper and a square piece of foam.

Using a heat gun, cover the foam on all sides with beautiful paper. This is what the base looks like.

Now start filling it with sweets on skewers. Stick in the sesame caramel first.

Then add dates to the composition.

Don't forget about milk toffee.

And at the very end, stick sticks with pieces of marmalade into the foam.

Make sure that there are no noticeable voids between the sweets and that the sticks do not stick out from the base.

When all the components are in place, all that remains is to beautifully package the composition for presentation. Wrap the craft in packaging cellophane and secure a bow of bright ribbon on top.
