How to decorate a T-shirt with pins and beads

Recently I came up with an idea on how to decorate a T-shirt with beads strung on pins. The advantage of such decoration over, for example, embroidery is that you can easily change the location of the pins, and, therefore, the design.
You can draw a flower, and tomorrow, if you don’t like the drawing, change it to a heart or wings, whatever! You can draw a bright butterfly or shell with pins, or you can depict a turtle.

Initially it was planned to depict a heart pierced by an arrow, but as the work progressed, another one appeared.

So let's get to work! The first thing to note is that it makes no sense to make the design larger horizontally than the size of the T-shirt neckline, because the design will be too large and will not look good. For me it is 20 cm. Fold the T-shirt in half vertically and mark the middle of the T-shirt. We also draw a line between the armpits - this is the upper border of our drawing, along the contour of which the pins will be laid out. With chalk we draw the contours of the heart along the intended boundaries

Next, taking into account the size of the pins - and for me it is 3.5 cm, we draw a larger heart, retreating these 3.5 cm. We lay out our heart beautifully.

Now the most important thing begins - straightening the pins. This is where pliers come in handy. Unclench the pin on the right and left.

We string beads in the same quantity as on the other side and bend the pin back with pliers. We begin to bend the pins from the needle side, and this can be seen in the previous photo, from where we begin to grab the pin with round pliers.

Now we begin to pin our pins onto the fabric, starting from the outline of the inner drawing of the heart, that is, with the rings inward. To prevent the pins from accidentally coming undone, you can crimp the head of the pin with pliers.

As a result, I wanted to complement the resulting heart with a flower inside. You can attach such a blue bead with a diameter of 2 cm to the center of the flower on a small pin 2 cm long (the kind of small gold pins that price tags on clothes are attached to).

But even this seemed not enough. It was decided to place pink beads between the petals of the flower, and first also string them onto small pins, straightening them out.

Of course, my hands are crooked, so it took me a long time to get to work. I was afraid of ruining the T-shirt, but curiosity got the better of me and I decided to start working. And to my great happiness it was not so difficult for me, I made a T-shirt for my niece and she was delighted with such a gift. On a small pink T-shirt, multi-colored heart-shaped beads looked very vibrant.
