Wedding invitations

The most exciting holiday in the life of every girl is, of course, a wedding. Each one tries to decorate this day in some special way, so that everything fits together and at the same time does not catch the eye. In most wedding events, the bride herself takes on all the troubles. It’s always a pleasure to come to any celebration and spend it in a warm family atmosphere and get a lot of positive impressions from the holiday.
Not every newlywed couple is throwing huge celebrations these days. Many simply prefer to spend this day exclusively with loved ones who are close to their soul and heart. Accordingly, every bride, regardless of the number of people invited, should stock up on wedding invitations. And it’s even better if she makes them herself. Currently, a very popular technique for this type of product is scrapbooking. Any creative materials can be purchased in stores or handicraft departments.For example, if the newlyweds invited six or seven people or families to the wedding, each girl can create such wedding invitations on her own.
So, let's look at a detailed master class on making six invitations using the scrapbooking technique. What materials do we need for this:
• Three sheets of watercolor paper in A4 format;
• Two sheets of thick paper with white mother-of-pearl, A4 format;
• Cutting light pink butterfly six pieces;
• Green cut leaves 12 pieces;
• About a meter each of narrow white organza and peach organza ribbons 10 mm wide, about 1.5-2 meters of pink satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide;
• Small peach-colored half-beads, 3 mm in diameter;
• Two stamps: one “Invitation” and “Wedding Rings”, pink ink pad;
• Paper roses with a diameter of about 1.5 cm, peach-pink;
• Thread and needle, glue stick, double-sided tape, ruler, pencil, scissors, rubber band.

Take a sheet of watercolor paper, turn it horizontally and divide it exactly in half.

So we divide all our three sheets and get these six blanks.

We need to receive invitations measuring 8*15 cm, so we cut off the extra section from the prepared blanks, therefore, when unfolded we should get blanks measuring 15*16 cm.

We turn the workpiece over so that the larger side is horizontal, divide it exactly in half, 8 cm each, and draw an invisible bend line using scissors.

Now we fold the resulting blank, the resulting size is 8*15 cm. So we prepare all six blanks.

Now we take a sheet of pearlescent white paper and mark rectangles measuring 7.9 * 14.8 cm on it, on each sheet we get three rectangles, respectively, on two sheets we get six rectangles (these will be the front invitation blanks that we will decorate ).

We cut out the resulting rectangles and remove the marks with an eraser.

We take a pink satin ribbon, apply it to the mother-of-pearl invitation blank, as in the photo, and leave a small margin on both sides, about 3 cm for tucking. We divide the same blank into approximately equal halves, apply a ruler along the length and draw a line with a dotted pencil line in order to glue the ribbon evenly.

We glue double-sided tape onto the marked dotted line with a small margin on the sides, and a prepared satin ribbon on top.

Fold the ribbon over the sides and press down firmly on both sides. Now we take a blank of watercolor paper.

We cover it with strips of tape and glue a mother-of-pearl rectangle on top.

Now we make a bow like this from the ribbons and sew it with thread.

We twist the roses onto a toothpick to form a spiral stem. On plain white paper we stamp the inscription “Invitation” and cut out six rectangles with the inscription.

Glue two cut-out leaves to each invitation, a bow on top, then a rose. Glue a butterfly and a half-bead above the ribbon, and below is a rectangle with an inscription.
