DIY multimedia projector

From the very beginning we decided that we needed, at a minimum, a high-definition XGA (1024x768 pixels) projector. By the way, most listings on eBay describe projectors with VGA (640x480) or SVGA (800x600) resolution. Who needs 300,000 or 480,000 pixels when you can get almost 800,000? If you buy a ready-made projector with XGA resolution, you will have to spend at least $1500. We assembled our system for less than $300. Add to this the excitement of self-assembly and numerous opportunities to improve picture quality.
