How to repair handle fastenings on a bag

What to do if the handle fastenings on a woman’s bag are faulty? Is it possible to solve this problem myself?

In this case, the bag can be repaired at home.

For this you will need:
-screwdriver for spot work;
-pen;
-scissors;
-hammer;
- a piece of suede or leather.

The metal mount is fixed to the bag with self-tapping screws. Unscrew the screws with a screwdriver.

Look for the missing screws at the bottom of the bag - 90% of them fell there.

In order for the screws to hold, you need to strengthen the leather of the bag under the metal fastener. To do this, place a piece of suede under the place where the bag is attached and trace the contours with a pen.

Cut out the part with scissors.

Insert suede between the leather parts of the bag.

Beat off the fastening point with a hammer.

Put the metal fastener in place.

Screw in the screws.
