Potholder "Ladybug"
This cute Ladybug potholder will not only become an indispensable assistant in the cooking process, but will also make the interior of any kitchen brighter and more attractive. This potholder is easy to crochet. It is perfect as a gift for your mother, grandmother, or sister. The density of the tack depends on the density of the threads used. I use pure cotton threads.
For knitting, we need 100 g of pure pink cotton thread, as well as the remains of black thread. We use hook No. 3.
To begin with, we knit 7 air loops, close the chain and knit 16 rows with a single crochet. We knit the first three rows with a single crochet, adding an additional loop after one. We also knit rows 4-6 with a single crochet, adding loops after 3 loops. We knit rows 7-9 with a single crochet, adding additional loops through 5 main loops. We knit rows 10-16, adding loops through 8 main loops.
Next, tie a black thread and knit 19 single crochets. We unfold the work and begin to knit, but not from the first loop, but from the second, thus removing one loop.We knit the row to the end, unfold the work and, again removing the first loop, knit the row to the end. So we knit 8 rows, removing one loop at a time.
Next we knit a loop. To do this, we knit 18 air loops from the last loop and tie the last loop to the other end. We unfold the work and knit one row with a single crochet.
We knit the back. To do this, we knit 23 air loops, unfold the work and knit a row with a single crochet. But we do not knit the last loop. We unfold the work and knit the next row, starting from the second loop. We continue to knit in the same way, removing the loops. Until there is only one loop left. We knit 36 air loops from it and close the last one.
We knit circles. We knit 4 chain loops, close the chain and knit 3 rows with a single crochet, adding 1 loop every 2. You need 6 such circles.
At the end, we sew on all the details and get a beautiful potholder in the shape of a ladybug.
