On sheets of plain paper of two colors, stripes are drawn with a pencil, the distance between which is approximately 1.5-2 cm.
Strips are cut along the lines.
Next, take two strips at the same time and fold them together. Afterwards it is necessary to make cuts along the entire length.
Then we take these cut double strips and twist them. Get a small roll. The tip must be glued with glue with a pencil so that it does not unwind back.
Next, use your fingers to carefully and evenly press the cut ends in different directions, making a kind of flower out of the roll.
You need to make at least 10 of these flowers, depending on the size of your Christmas tree. In this case, two colors are used, close to New Year's. The tree itself is built from them. Flowers in the shape of a spruce are glued onto colored velvet paper.
Next, you should decorate your Christmas tree. This is done at your own discretion.You can use glitter hairspray or just apply dry eyeshadow. You can attach a star to the top of your head; in this example, an elegant bow is used. Since this is a New Year's card, you can write congratulations on the back.
