Gift for men - a bouquet of socks
Socks - present for men, which was a tradition, a source of jokes, but remains a constant option during the holidays. When there is no time to look for something unique or there is simply not enough imagination, women certainly remember this necessary and practical thing.
But you can turn even the most ordinary item into an original gift. For example, if you make a bouquet of socks, you can save money and at the same time amuse the recipient. The fabric is soft and easy to fold, and the oblong, curved shape of the sock is very convenient for folding a rose out of it.
This option will certainly be suitable as a gift for February 23rd for your husband. And you can always give a guy a bouquet of socks on February 14th. Young people have a well-developed sense of humor.
Materials:
We release all socks from packaging. We check that there are no iron staples left. Now you need to make a rose from a sock. Lay out the sock on a flat surface.Place the end of a wooden skewer near the elastic band. We hide it under a corner of the fabric.
We begin to twist the sock into a tube around a wooden skewer. We form neat folds, making the workpiece look like a pink bud.
At the bottom of the fabric flower we fix it with threads.
From each sock we make a rose on a skewer. Each pair of socks makes two flowers.
We hide the threads under a thin green ribbon for decoration. We curl the ends using a scissor blade.
To get an odd number of flowers in the bouquet, we will make another rose from a silk scarf. Fold it diagonally twice. Roll it into a tube around a wooden skewer. We fix it at the bottom with thread. We straighten the corners. Decorate with decorative ribbon.
We collect roses from socks together. We press the wooden skewers tightly against each other and secure them with threads.
Wrap the flowers in green wrapping paper. We fasten with tape in several places.
We tie it with a decorative ribbon for security. We make several knots.
The bouquet can be decorated with several curls of decorative ribbon on top.
