Bouquet of flowers made from candies

To please your sweet tooth with your favorite sweets, you can present them in an original way in the form of a beautifully decorated bouquet of flowers, where the sweets will be cleverly disguised in petals made of corrugated paper.
This bouquet is quite simple to make, but will certainly be a very original sweet present for any celebration.
The production of such a candy-flower composition occurs in two stages: the creation of roses and, in fact, the vase.
To create a flower with a candy center you will need:
  • round candies,
  • corrugated paper in pink and green colors,
  • long wooden skewers,
  • scotch,
  • scissors,
  • green thread.

To begin, use narrow tape to secure the candy and the skewer together. Then take a roll of pink corrugated paper and cut several squares measuring approximately 10 by 10 cm. Wrap the candy in the resulting piece of paper and secure it using tape. If you want the core of the flower to stand out beautifully in the bouquet, then instead of corrugation you can use foil.

Cut out several quadrangles from paper. As a result, you should have 5 large rectangles (9 by 7 cm) and 15 small ones (4 by 7 cm). This quantity is indicated for a bouquet of five flowers.Fold each shape in half and round the ends on one side. The result will be heart-shaped petals.
Wrap the candy on the skewer with a large piece of crepe paper. The corrugation should “capture” the sweetness completely. Make the second layer of petals by carefully placing small shapes in a circle. The bud is ready. Secure it at the base with tape. Similar actions need to be done 4 more times so that you end up with 5 buds.
Now it's time to start creating the stem and sepals of the rose. To do this, take a roll of green paper and cut 5 rectangles (9 cm long and 6 cm high). Place the rectangles on top of each other and cut out the “grass”. These are future sepals.

After this, make five long strips 1 cm wide. They will need to be wrapped around each skewer to create a green stem. Secure the paper at the top and bottom with tape, and then carefully wrap the “grass” around the stem under the bud. Tighten the sepal attachment area tightly with green thread.
All that remains is to add leaves to the flower. Cut them out of crepe paper and attach them to the stem. The roses are ready.
Now you can move on to creating a vase. In order to make it, you will need:
  • a tall box of eau de toilette or wine,
  • paper decorative tape,
  • glue "Moment"
  • satin ribbons and beads for decoration.

Carefully coat the box with glue and wrap it with paper tape. While the vase is drying, make a bow from satin ribbons and attach a bead to the center. Glue it to the box.

To keep the flowers well in the vase, place a piece of foam inside it and stick sharp skewers into it.
This candy composition will be a pleasant addition to any gift and will undoubtedly delight every sweets lover.
